OFFLOADIT, a new online marketplace for contractors in California, allows users to buy and sell unused construction materials and equipment and machinery. Sellers can list equipment and machinery, and buyers can browse the listings, without paying a fee. The platform is available via a website and app.

“We are excited to connect people in the contracting world and make the community a more collaborative space,” said Jim Firth, co-founder of OFFLOADIT. “We believe that by allowing companies that sell their excess equipment with greater ease we can make the industry more sustainable and better for everyone’s bottom line.”

The marketplace was initially launched in California with plans to expand nationwide. Some listings on the website are from sellers outside of California.
