The third generation of shingles features digitally rendered high-definition finish to closely resemble real cedar and tapered gaps between shingles for more defined shadow.

“For 27 years, the Cedar Impressions family of shakes and shingles has remained a top choice for its exceptional beauty, versatility and long-lasting curb appeal,” said Brian Kirn, polymer shakes and shingles product manager for CertainTeed. “Despite the current effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the construction industry, we are committed to maintaining our high standard of quality, while also ensuring the health and safety of partners and employees, as building and remodeling projects cautiously resume across the country.”

In the age of COVID-19, projects need to be completed by smaller crews. Double course panels offer more coverage with fewer fasteners, so it can be installed by fewer people.

Other features include hidden drainage holes, friction dots, reverse texture backing and engineered side tabs. Signature CertainTeed features include EasyMeasure tape measure, HammerTapper hammer assist pads, SureStop, and built-in PanelThermometer temperature spacing indicator.
