Kevin Guzior has been appointed chief operating officer at Pioneer Landscape Centers, the landscape and hardscape supplier announced on Monday.
The COO position is new for Pioneer, signaling the company’s intentions for continued expansion.
“We are looking to deliver an unrivaled experience for our customers, and that requires a relentless focus on execution throughout the supply chain,” Mark Adamson, chief executive officer, noted in a statement. “Kevin has a deep understanding of not only Pioneer’s business but also those of our customers, and as such was the logical choice to help us continue to grow.”
Guzior has held numerous roles at Pioneer for 12 years, most recently serving as the vice president of marketing and business development.

Pioneer has acquired three companies in 2018: Arizona-based distribution center Grand Materials & Supplies in April, Longmont-based Midwest Materials in June, and Granite Express, another Arizona-based company, in July. The company has plans to expand to additional locations in the Southwest, Pioneer noted in a statement.
Guzior attributed Pioneer’s success to “a focus on our customers and our people coupled with a commitment to quality products and process. We will continue to leverage our 50 years of experience and focus on the basics of product availability and service,” he said in a statement.
