Showy Milkweed Asclepias speciosa

A good-sized perennial, Showy Milkweed grows to 30-by-12 inches. It likes full sun, and has medium water needs. It blooms in the summer, and provides nectar and pollen to bees and butterflies. CSU notes it is also a host plant for Monarch larvae.
