Landsea Homes has entered the Colorado market through the acquisition of Richfield Homes
Dallas-based Landsea Homes has expanded into Colorado, its seventh home building market, by acquiring Longmont-based Richfield Homes.
“We are very excited about this transaction, as it provides Landsea with a unique opportunity to establish a presence in one of the best housing markets in the country,” John Ho, Landsea’s CEO, said in a press release.
Richfield Homes was founded in 2012 by Will Edgington and Serge Goldberg, who had previously run a home building company in Texas.

Lisa Wiebelhaus—a managing partner at Richfield—will serve as president of the new Landsea Homes Colorado division. Wiebelhaus worked with Richfield Homes for more than seven years. Before that, she was vice president of sales for 12 years at Colorado-based Richmond American Homes. She’s a graduate of Colorado State University and lives in Denver with her husband and children.
In the release, Wiebelhaus said she was “excited and honored to join Landsea Homes,” citing the company’s “exceptional reputation for innovative homebuilding and strong commitment to customer service.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Lisa to the Landsea Homes senior management family,” Ho said in the release. “With nearly two decades of homebuilding experience in Colorado, she has a wealth of strategic insight, strong management skills and deep local roots that will help us successfully launch this new division.”
Landsea Homes also operates in Arizona, Florida, New York, California and Texas.
