HBA Denver Announces HAP Awards Winners

HBA Denver Reveals Recipients of HAP Awards

The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Denver presented 2023 Homebuilder and Associates in Partnership (HAP) Awards to three builders at its annual meeting.

HAP Award winners are determined by HBA associate members with whom the builder does business. Associate members ranked the builder on criteria including trust, communication, loyalty and ethics.

The HAP award for national production builder went to D.R. Horton. Associate members said the company is easy to work with, builds a consistent home, keeps worksites clean, sticks to their timeline and has an upstanding culture.

For local/regional production builder, the HAP award went to Lokal Homes. The builder was recognized by associate members for its quality construction, unique design concepts, wonderful customer service and the way it treats subcontractors, suppliers and homeowners.

Wall Custom Homes received the HAP Award for custom home builder. Associate members lauded the company’s quality work, attention to detail, longevity in the business, long-standing relationships and personable team.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award from the HBA of Metro Denver,” said Robyn Asbury, Lokal Homes president, in a statement. “As a Colorado builder, we take pride in building strong relationships with our local trade partners, so we greatly appreciate their support and praise.”

Other finalists for the national production builder award included Lennar, Shea Homes, Toll Brother and Trumark Homes. Finalists for the local/regional production builder award included Ascent Builders, Berkeley Homes, Boulder Creek Neighborhoods and Thrive Home Builders. Custom home builder finalists included Camerata Homes, Jackson Design Build, Larsen and Renaissance Homes.
